Plate-mounted & Screw-in Stabilizers
M7 barebone kit is equipped with plate-mounted stabilizers, which effectively minimizes keycap wobbling. In addition, it also comes with extra PCB Mount/Screw-in stabilizers to cater to the diverse preferences of users.
South-facing PCB
The south-facing PCB of the M7 avoids causing interference with Cherry profile keycaps, offering more compatibility and flexibility.
Customizable RGB
M7 offers approximately 20 preset backlight modes, which allow users to adjust the brightness and flowing speed levels. Moreover, it supports a wide range of RGB effects, with over 16.8 million colors available. Users can also install an upcoming JSON file to access even more lighting effects and configurations.
New Silver Accent
While M7 silver comes with golden accent, MonsGeek has picked the new silver accent on other models.
N-Key Rollover
The N-Key Rollover technology allows all keys to work simultaneously and ensures every keystroke is recorded and prevents ghosting.
Polycarbonate Plate
M7 VIA keyboard diy kit utilizes a transparent PC plate to offer flexibility surpassing that of metal, while also reducing low-frequency resonance.
PORON Plate Foam
M7 barebone is equipped with PORON plate foam, effectively reducing the noise generated by key switches, ensuring a purer and more comfortable tactile sound experience for the keyboard.
VIA
MonsGeek M7 supports VIA for cross-platform (Linux/Mac/Windows) advanced keyboard configuration.
QMK certification is still in progress. For users who would like to implement it before the official pull request, the source code will be available for download in the future.
This feature is exclusively for international version of M7.
Need More Foam?
Monsgeek has developed its own budget custom material that performs equally as well as poron. Meanwhile, MonsGeek M7 comes with an additional sponage case foam to reduce case ping.
*Disclaimer: Using thicker foam may reduce flex, whether to include it or not is down to your personal preference.
PET Insulation Layer
A PET insulation layer has been added to the bottom case in order to prevent any short circuit issues. It’s rare for these issues to occur but we want to add extra protection.
Accessories to Play With
Extra teflon pads included for users who wish to perform a force break mod.
MonsGeek includes a default 3mm custom-made foam for a balanced feeling. Disclaimer: the foam will affect the overall sound profile and flex.

I am just getting started with Monsgeek and this is a very nice keyboard, I’m putting on the PCB-mounted stabilizers to try those out, and I am still waiting on some nice keycaps and Switches for this build. IF RGB is your thing and you’re a Signal RGB fan This Keyboard Can support Signal RGB, I even wrote a Custom Plugin for Signal RGB that will support this keyboard Matrix. Just a little update with the QMK toolbox and you’re on your path to a Great Keyboard and RGB journey.
