Dear MonsGeek Customers,
We are sharing an important update regarding recent changes to US tariff policies.
On Friday (US time), US administration has decided that the previous tariff for every small package from China would cease until the Department of Commerce put in place adequate systems to fully and expediently process and collect tariffs. The announcement didn’t indicate WHEN the new system will be ready but for now, all packages to the US are temporarily duty-free again.
As a result, we have resumed normal shipping operations to the US. Tracking will be out in 48-72hours for all orders.
Next Steps
– This pause provides us additional time to prepare for expanded use of US warehouses to streamline future operations.

Dear MonsGeek Customers,
We want to update you on recent tariff changes and their potential impact on your orders:
- Around 60% of Orders Unaffected: Around 60% of US orders are shipped from our overseas warehouse and will not be impacted by tariffs.
- Expanding Local Fulfillment: We aim to increase US-based shipments in the coming months for a smoother, tariff-free experience.
- Shipping Method Advisory: If you place an order via https://monsgeek.com/ and choose Expedited Shipping, there is a risk that shipments using this method could be subject to high tariff taxes or other administration fees (not sure but very likely based on our experience in other countries with FedEx/DHL). Even after a package is delivered, there is a chance you may receive an invoice to pay tariff tax later. While it remains unclear exactly how these charges will be applied, our local FedEx agency is also seeking clarity. The option is temporarily removed and we will add them back next week once we figure out how they collect tax.
- Tariff Coverage:
For orders placed on or before 2/4, we will cover any tariff fees. Contact support asap if you receive an invoice.
For orders after 2/4, any applicable tariff fees will be clearly shown at checkout. If no notice appears, tariffs are prepaid by MonsGeek.
Packages shipped to US may currently experience delays due to a significant backlog in customs declarations at US Customs. We are working hard to prepare an advanced declaration process for existing orders to ensure your shipments clear customs smoothly. The situation may be particularly challenging until February 10, but we expect improvements on the clearance rate next week. Again, thank you for your patience and support.
